Our client is sourcing for a focused technical recruiter to be responsible for the sourcing, screening, and hiring of technical specialists to fill IT positions.
The technical recruiter's responsibilities include all aspects of hiring, from meeting with hiring managers to writing job descriptions to offering job positions to the most suitable candidates.
To be a successful technical recruiter, you should have a good working knowledge of technology, technical roles, technical skills, and the recruitment process.
Job Responsibilities
Communicate with hiring managers to identify future job openings and the technical requirements for those jobs.
Write job descriptions and post them on relevant media platforms.
Screen applicants for competency with the job requirements.
Arrange telephone, video, or in-person interviews.
In charge of filing company’s documents
Perform background and reference checks.
Present the resumes of the most suitable candidates to the hiring manager.
Offer job positions and complete the relevant paperwork.
Keep track of all applicants and keep applicants informed on the application process.
Forecast recruitment budgets.
Job Qualifications
A Bachelor of Science with a minimum of 2.1 in Computer science or any engineering-related field.
A master’s degree is an added advantage.
4-5 years work experience.
