The Maintenance Technician as a front liner in the maintenance department will oversee the installation, inspection and repairs of plumbing and at all company facilities ensuring they are in optimum condition.
Responsibilities
Act as first responder for all equipment and facility maintenance-related enquiries, complaints and requests.
Carry out installation, repair and maintenance work on plumbing systems.
Address and resolve basic electro-mechanical issues at all company facilities.
Daily routine checks of generators, water pumps, water and sewage treatment plants, sprinklers, swimming pool and other electro-mechanical fittings.
Initiate periodic dislodgement of kitchen grease traps and sewage tanks.
Carry out periodic backwash of swimming pool and water and sewage treatment plants ensuring optimum water and effluent quality.
Supervise and monitor all installations, repairs and periodic maintenance work carried out by vendors and contractors on all electro-mechanical system at company facilities.
Note and escalate all significant facility and maintenance-related issues to management.
Act as fire and safety warden, carry out periodic safety checks of the facility and fulfil a key role in emergency response procedures.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years working experience as a maintenance Plumber.
OND / NABTEB / Technical Vocational certificate
Good hands-on practical experience in installation, operation, and maintenance of plumbing systems
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Conversant with modern & various types of sanitary features.
Diligent personality with excellent attention to details.
