The Role



  • Flutterwave is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Manager/Senior Manager, Planning within the Strategy and Operations organization.

  • The Manager/Senior Manager of Planning is responsible for overseeing and leading the planning functions within the organization.

  • This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to develop, implement, and manage planning processes that align with the company's objectives.

  • The Manager/ Senior Manager will collaborate with various departments to ensure efficient and effective planning, forecasting, and resource allocation.

  • The Manager/Senior Manager will also oversee company wide performance management, which includes initiative and key results scorecard reporting and coordinating regular monthly business reviews.

  • The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in strategic planning, business operations, business transformation, and project management methodologies, with a specific focus on technology or financial services industries.

  • This position demands a strategic thinker with the ability to drive alignment and optimize performance across the organization. This person would report directly to the Associate Vice President of Planning.


Responsibilities



  • Lead the development and execution of the annual and quarterly planning process, ensuring alignment with company objectives and strategic goals.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs, analyze data, and formulate strategic initiatives

  • Maintain a monthly-based consolidated initiatives tracker with status of all company-wide initiatives

  • Develop and manage the corporate scorecard, tracking measures of success and metrics to assess business performance

  • Prepare and present comprehensive scorecard reports to senior leadership, highlighting key insights and areas for improvement

  • Manage business reviews; assess performance of initiatives and evaluate strategic options

  • Partner with business units to identify risks, opportunities, and action plans for continuous improvement

  • Lead and support business transformation initiatives, driving operational efficiency and strategic change across the organization

  • Work closely with all teams to ensure cohesive planning and reporting.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, promoting best practices in planning and performance management

  • Serve as a strong communicator, effectively conveying complex concepts and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders

  • Manage short term deadlines as well as long term strategic initiatives


Requirements



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Business Management, or a related field; Master's degree or Professional Certifications are a plus

  • Proven 7+ years of experience in strategic planning, business operations, consulting or related roles within the fintech or financial services industry

  • Proven track record of managing planning and performance management processes, including scorecard reporting and business reviews

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.

  • Must possess ability to understand and anticipate broader impact of enhancement initiatives and engage appropriate stakeholders

  • Ability to develop, implement and drive long-term strategies aligned with organizational goals

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including executive leadership

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,with the ability to build trusted relationships with senior leadership and internal stakeholders

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities with a high degree of autonomy.
