Responsibilities

• Perform professional cleaning of classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas, ensuring a clean and safe environment.


• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the school premises.


• Ensure that waste is properly disposed of in designated areas and manage the segregation of recyclable materials.


• Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs, such as broken fixtures, leaky faucets, or faulty electrical systems.


• Restock cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other necessary items in restrooms and other areas.


• Safely operate cleaning equipment and handle chemicals according to safety guidelines.


• Assist with setting up and breaking down furniture and equipment for events or meetings.


• Ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed promptly and to the required standard.


• Respond promptly to urgent cleaning or maintenance requests.


• Maintain outdoor areas, including sweeping walkways, cleaning windows, and managing litter.

Expectations:

• Be available to work outside regular office hours, including weekends and holidays.


• Maintain a neat, professional appearance while on duty.


• Exhibit strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment.


• Demonstrate the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.


• Be physically fit, with the stamina required to handle strenuous cleaning tasks.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE / GCE.


• Prior experience in professional cleaning or janitorial services is preferred.


• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety practices.


• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and supervisors.
