Job Description



Brand awareness, engagement & experience



  1. Create top of the mind awareness of the NLP brand in relation to other ministerial brands.

  2. Ensure the recognition & visibility to the brand when presented with a tagline, logo or other brand asset

  3. Ensure we are verified & active on all social media platforms

  4. Ensure all communication plans are implemented within the stipulated time frame

  5. Innovate creative means of channelling NLP into an actively mentioned brand on various social media channels

  6. Ensure high brand satisfaction ratings via follow-ups on audience participation feedbacks

  7. Create & manage the audience experience of the brand to increase the likelihood of NLP-brand recommendation


Strategic Planning & Implementation



  1. Manage planning, budgeting and implementing of communication plans to ensure wider reach to target audience

  2. Coordinate all creative concepts & respective execution with both internal & external resources as it relates with communication of the NLP-brand

  3. Develop policies regarding execution of all integrated communications campaigns

  4. You will own media strategy and implement effective media plan for specific campaigns to reach target audience

  5. Develop and enforce digital marketing strategies as well as collaborate with digital platforms for proper reporting and analysis.

  6. Strategize and execute for digital marketing and social media platforms.

  7. Ensure that all marketing activities are carried out with necessary budgetary approvals and are in line with agreed marketing plans


Leadership & Management



  1. Demonstrate Leadership and oversight for the team.

  2. Ensure overall satisfactory task completion & performance of the team with relative cognizance of workload distribution amongst individual members of the team

  3. Ensure active collaboration amongst team members to produce desired outcomes or complete assigned projects within approved timelines.

  4. Own communication strategy for specific ‘products ‘and segments, supervise production of all advertising materials (TVC, print, OOH, internet, radio) in line with brand guidelines


Content Creation



  1. Responsible for creating, implementing and measuring all marketing, communications and public relations activities and materials including publications, media relations, media partner, relationship management etc.

  2. Create and curate shareable content; determine which platform is best suited for each piece of content;

  3. Building and managing digital presence

  4. Develop and execute integrated communications campaigns


Public Relations/Reputation Management



  1. Develop procedures and processes to effectively manage the public relations

  2. Attend to all PR related matters efficiently and effectively

  3. Ensure that the communications unit and team members uphold the necessary standards
