Key Responsibilities:



  • Oversee and manage the logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods and services.

  • Develop and implement logistics strategies and plans to support business objectives and improve operational efficiency.

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols within the oil and gas sector.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, operations, and finance, to optimize supply chain processes and achieve cost savings.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth and reliable logistics operations.

  • Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

  • Prepare and present reports on logistics performance, cost analysis, and project updates to the Head, Logistics Operation.


Educational Qualification and Experience:



  • First Degree (First class or Second-Class Upper Division)/HND in Transportation

  • 7 years relevant experience in logistics operations management

  • MBA and professional qualification is an added advantage.

  • Ability to effectively manage people (Team of Logistics Specialist) and other resources.


Required Skills:



  • Proven knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations in Oil and Gas Industry.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Oil and Gas business

  • Ability to handle supply chain challenges in Oil and Gas Industry

  • Proven experience as a Logistics Manager, preferably within the oil and gas sector.

  • Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles, as well as industry-specific regulations and standards in Oil and Gas Industry.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.

  • Proficiency in logistics management software and tools.
