Job Description

• This work involves the maintenance of material handling equipment and motorized gates within the factory in order to support the manufacturing department to manufacture products on time and in full according to specified quality standards and at optimum cost.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide adequate support in material handling equipment and motorized gate to achieve reliability and availability level.


• Assist in the daily CIL (cleaning, inspection, and lubrication) of all the available MHE at various locations.


• Carry out maintenance on material handling equipment and motorized gate according to maintenance schedule or when required.


• Carry out weekly electrical inspection and test on all material handling equipment and motorized gate.


• Give full support in ensuring all MHE job requests are attended to OTIF.


• Weekly inspection of the electrolyte level and refilling of the batteries with electrolyte when required.


• Complete relevant documents / checklists as prescribed and ensure availability of accurate maintenance data.


• Adhere to EHS procedures and good housekeeping practices to prevent personal injuries and damage to equipment.


• Maintain regular housekeeping of the workshop area.


• Ability to pass the technical proficiency test and show a high level of hands-on skills.


• Ability to perform routine electrical maintenance on all available material handling equipment and motorized gate.


• Carry out other daily duties as it may be assigned by the technician in charge of the workshop and the services team leader.

Job Qualifications

• Candidates must possess a minimum of OND in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or Trade Test Certificate in same area

• The job requires concentration, experience and commitment for good results and effectiveness.


• Ability to work/operate on forklift machinery.
