Job Summary



  • We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Programme Manager to lead and manage our portfolio of impactful programs.

  • The Programme Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the successful planning, implementation, and evaluation of our initiatives, which are designed to uplift and empower young people across Africa.

  • The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with exceptional project management skills and a passion for making a difference.


Job Responsibilities


Program Development and Management:



  • Oversee the design, planning, and execution of programs in alignment with Rise Networks' mission and strategic goals.

  • Develop and implement program work plans, timelines, and budgets.

  • Ensure that all programs are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.


Stakeholder Engagement:



  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, partners, government agencies, and beneficiaries.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for program-related inquiries and communications.


Team Leadership:



  • Lead and manage program teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.

  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.


Monitoring and Evaluation:



  • Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess the impact and effectiveness of programs.

  • Prepare and present regular program reports to senior management, stakeholders, and funders.


Resource Mobilization:



  • Identify and pursue funding opportunities to support program expansion and sustainability.

  • Prepare grant proposals and manage relationships with donors.


Risk Management:



  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure program success.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and organizational policies.


Job Qualifications



  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, preferably within the non-profit or social enterprise sector.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex programs.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and partnership development.

  • Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation practices.

  • Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.

  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
