Job Responsibilities



  • Host and present TV shows, programs, or segments

  • Engage with guests, interviewees, or co-hosts in a professional and charismatic manner

  • Deliver scripted or unscripted content, including news, introductions, and links

  • Conduct research and prepare for shows, including reading scripts, briefing notes, and background information

  • Develop and maintain a strong on-screen presence, including tone, pace, and body language

  • Interact with studio audiences, respond to questions, and handle live situations

  • Collaborate with production teams, including producers, directors, and crew members

  • Participate in rehearsals, planning meetings, and debriefing sessions

  • Stay up-to-date with current events, trends, and industry developments

  • Promote the TV show or program on social media and at public events


Requirements



  • Experience: Previous experience in TV presenting, broadcasting, or a related field

  • Communication skills: Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills

  • On-screen presence: Confident, charismatic, and engaging on-screen presence

  • Research skills: Ability to research and prepare for shows

  • Improvisation skills: Ability to think on your feet and handle live situations

  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with production teams

  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, including last-minute script changes

  • Time management: Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Education: Degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field (desirable)

  • Additional skills: Ability to use teleprompters, earpieces, and other broadcasting equipment
