Job Description

• We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Fleet Management Executive to oversee the management and maintenance of our vehicle fleet.


• The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in fleet management, particularly within the Gbagada area, and a strong understanding of logistics, vehicle maintenance, and operational efficiency.


• As a Fleet Management Executive, you will ensure that our fleet is well-maintained, efficiently utilized, and compliant with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the vehicle fleet, including scheduling, dispatching, and coordinating vehicle maintenance and repairs.


• Monitor fleet performance and utilization to ensure operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.


• Develop and implement fleet management strategies to reduce operational costs, improve fuel efficiency, and extend vehicle lifespan.


• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies, including safety standards, licensing, and vehicle inspections.


• Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, fuel usage, and driver activities.


• Collaborate with the procurement team to manage vehicle acquisition and disposal processes.


• Develop and implement driver training programs to enhance safety, efficiency, and vehicle care.


• Monitor and analyze fleet data to identify trends, make recommendations, and improve overall fleet performance.


• Coordinate with insurance providers to manage claims and ensure proper coverage for all vehicles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Transportation Management, or a related field.


• Minimum of 2 years of experience in fleet management or a similar role.


• Strong knowledge of fleet management principles, vehicle maintenance, and logistics operations.


• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple vehicles and drivers.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.


• Attention to detail and a strong focus on safety and compliance.
