The Maritime Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects related to maritime logistics and operations.
This role requires an experienced professional with a deep understanding of maritime operations, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and manage maritime logistics projects from initiation to completion.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of maritime projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Liaise with clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all relevant maritime laws and standards.
Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to meet project goals.
Lead and mentor project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Project Management, or a related field. A master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience inproject management or a similar role.
Proven track record of successfully managing complexprojects.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
