Responsibilities

• Prepare beat operational order for guards and enforce compliance of same.


• Report on time, prepare take-over and handover shift report


• Take attendance of security guards, record /cover shortages, and recruit and train new intakes


• Brief security guards and deploy guards with required instruments to their respective beats


• Maintain security documents (muster roll, shift report, duty roster, incident report, personnel, vehicle and materials logbooks, etc)


• Check the functioning of available security equipment and personal protective equipment


• Report malfunctioning equipment (radios, torches, CUG lines, etc)


• Conduct patrol to check the work of security guards and sign off logbook at each beat patrolled


• Coordinate and supervise all security operations


• Enforce compliance with operational procedures/beat orders and security policies


• Investigate incidents and security breaches, document by way of report to include recommendations of sanctions and countermeasures to mitigate against recurrence


• Organise training of security guards


• Conduct intelligence gathering within the site and its immediate environment


• Resolve grievances of security guards

Requirements

• Candidates must have a minimum of WAEC / OND with at least 7 years in a supervisory role in private guard security.


• The ability to drive will be of advantage.
