Our client, a renowned restaurant located at the International Airport in Lagos, known for its exceptional culinary offerings and outstanding customer service, is seeking to hire a dedicated, commited and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join their team.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage and motivate staff to ensure the highest level of service. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring customer satisfaction and smooth service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff, including servers, hosts, and kitchen staff.
- Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and service are maintained.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Train, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve their best performance.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and restaurant policies.
- Assist in scheduling staff shifts and managing payroll.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, expectations, and provide feedback.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations with grace.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
