  • The job focuses on protecting IBEDC against losses and inefficiencies by conducting audits on company existing and new power infrastructures.


Job Requirements


Minimum Requirements



  • A Bachelor’s degree or HND in Electrical engineering.

  • A post graduate degree in electrical engineering or other relevant discipline is an advantage

  • Professional membership and certification in relevant fields including membership of NSE, NIPE, COREN.

  • At least 7 years’ experience in audit processes and with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.

  • Good understanding of audit management systems knowledge of internal auditing standards, responsibilities, code of ethics, and certification.

  • Demonstrate ability to conduct risk assessment on power distribution infrastructures and ability to review health and safety risks in all company operations.

Job Responsibility



  • Update checklist for monitoring of network and infrastructures.  

  • Regular network monitoring and review of power distribution infrastructures according to the annual audit plan.

  • Assists in defining, drafting, and reviewing internal audit policies and procedures.  

  • Conduct timely inspection of inventory/completed technical projects.

  • Review of Technical Safety Control Measures put in place in line with guiding standards and make recommendations for observed inefficiencies.

  • Follow up on the implementation of approved recommendations proposed in previous audit reports and measure impact on operations.

  • Prepares periodic and ad-hoc reports to relevant stakeholders. Carry out other sundry assignments as directed by Lead, Technical Audit.
