Summary

• The position holder will be responsible for leading the origination, execution, and structuring of complex financial transactions, including mergers & acquisitions and capital-raising efforts.


• He/she will design and implement financial models to evaluate investment opportunities and optimise capital structure while managing relationships with investors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the origination and execution of complex financial transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, and capital-raising efforts.


• Design and implement sophisticated financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, optimise capital structure, and inform decision-making.


• Structure deals from initiation to close, ensuring alignment with the strategic goals of the firm and its clients.


• Manage relationships with investors, financial institutions, and stakeholders, fostering strong networks for deal sourcing.


• Oversee due diligence processes, assessing financial risks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field


• Professional certifications such as CFA, ACA, ACCA, and CPA is required

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience


• Proven experience in corporate finance, with a strong track record in deal origination.


• Advanced financial modeling skills and familiarity with various capital structures.


• Experience in capital raising, including equity and debt financing.


• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.


• CFA/CA or equivalent financial qualifications preferred.
