Role Overview:



  • We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Procurement Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, ensuring that all purchases meet the company's quality and cost standards. This role requires a proactive individual with strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company guidelines.

  • Conduct market survey and analysis to identify potential suppliers and vendors.

  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms and pricing.

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to determine procurement needs and requirements.

  • Supervise the procurement team and provide guidance on procurement processes and procedures.

  • Monitor procurement activities to ensure compliance with established procedures and regulations.

  • Develop and maintain procurement metrics and performance indicators to measure and improve procurement efficiency.

  • Manage the procurement budget and ensuring that procurement activities remain within budgetary constraints.

  • Identify and resolve procurement-related issues and disputes.

  • Facilitate registration of new suppliers ensuring that the required documents are completed

  • Conduct quarterly supplier performance evaluation

  • Develop and implement training programs for procurement staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, preferably within the furniture or manufacturing industry.

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in procurement.
