Teach government and civics-related subjects to secondary school students.
Deliver engaging lectures, lead classroom discussions, and use various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
Create and administer assessments to evaluate students' understanding of government concepts. This includes quizzes, tests, essays, and projects. Provide timely feedback to students to support their academic growth.
Work with colleagues, school administrators, and other staff to support student learning and address any issues that may arise. This may include attending staff meetings and collaborating on interdisciplinary projects.
Develop strategies to engage students in learning about government and civics, including using current events and real-world examples to make the subject matter relevant and interesting.
Requirements
Candidates should possess a BEd / NCE with 1 - 4 years experience.
