Job Purpose

• To support the implementation of Natnudo Foods Transport’s logistics policies and processes by planning and coordinating product movement between the factory to various depots and approved areas.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Securing cargo and properly arranging and balancing it within the vehicle


• Maintaining a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations


• Ensuring any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected before driving


• Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules


• Complying with truck driving rules and regulations


• Reporting defects, accidents and violations


• Performing daily maintenance of truck (refuelling, cleaning, etc.


• Loading and unloading trucks


• Interacting with customers in a professional manner


• Performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspection reports


• Recording cargo deliveries

Qualifications

• SSCE certificate


• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Class G


• Must have a Driving Test / Training Certificate


• 3 years experience as a truck/trailer driver.


• Good knowledge of Nigerian road networks.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• High level of responsibility, reliability, and attention to detail.


• Age: 35 Years and above.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Ability to drive articulated trucks.


• Minimum of 4years expeience


• Good knowledge of specified routes


• Must possess a class ‘G’ driving license.


• Basic reading, writing skill and communication skill.


• Posess valid driving licence

• Understanding of motor vehicle functionality
