Job Description
Job Purpose
- The Account Officer role is responsible for the proper and accurate capturing of all relevant transaction on the ERP and ensuring that proper reconciliation and required report is submitted within the given timeline.
Responsibilities
- Posting and identification of all bank transaction receipts on daily basis.
- Posting of all petty transactions on a daily basis.
- Raising customer sales orders on ERP.
- Raising item sales on a daily basis and weekly submission of sales.
- Participating in monthly stock-taking excersice.
- Matching of sales with bank receipt on daily basis.
- Raising of Debit and Credit note and other issue related to sales.
- Reconcilliation of customer ledger.
- Raising of Supplier /Vendor bill on ERP.
- Rasing and retirement of staff payble transaction Such as IOU , salary advance etc.
- Loading of specific vendor bill on intranet.
- Submission of weekly report on petty cash transaction and other assigned duty.
- Daily uploading of invoices on the intranet for payment processing.
- Posting of all short-term funds (intercompany account).
- Posting of purchases/invoices.
- Bank Reconciliation.
- Customer Ledger Reconciliation.
- Posting all bank deposits.
- Correction of errors by posting and adjusting journal entries.
- Weekly Receivables report.
- Weekly report on the movement of unidentified lodgements.
- Preparation of cash flow on a weekly basis.
Requirements
- BSc/HND in Accounting
- ICAN ATS Certification is an added advantage
- Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in internal control, auditing, compliance, risk management, or accounting at officer level
