Job Summary



  • We seek a part-time remote, talented, experienced WordPress Developer to join our team.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WordPress development practices, excellent coding skills, and the ability to create & maintain high-quality websites.

  • You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development maintenance and customization


Responsibilities



  • Develop and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring high performance, and availability, and managing all technical aspects.

  • Add plugins to meet specific project requirements.

  • Customize and extend WordPress functionalities using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Optimize website performance, ensuring fast load times and scalability.

  • Implement security measures to safeguard websites from vulnerabilities and threats.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs promptly.

  • Provide technical support and training to clients and team members as needed.


Requirements



  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent work experience with 2 years experience

  • Experience with popular WordPress page builders such as Elementor.

  • Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer.

  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

  • Experience with WordPress themes and plugins.

  • Familiarity with website optimization tools and techniques.

  • Solid understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.

  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and website analytics tools.

  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
