Responsibilities



  • Prepare and bake goods: Produce a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, cookies, and other items, following established recipes and techniques.

  • Measure and mix ingredients: Accurately measure and mix ingredients to prepare doughs, batters, fillings, and icings.

  • Ensure product quality: Monitor the quality and consistency of all baked goods, ensuring that they are baked to perfection in terms of flavor, texture, and appearance.

  • Decorate and finish products: Decorate cakes, pastries, and other items with frosting, glazes, or other finishing touches to enhance their visual appeal.

  • Maintain cleanliness: Keep the kitchen and baking areas clean, organized, and in compliance with health and safety standards.

  • Manage inventory: Track inventory of baking ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed to ensure stock levels are maintained.

  • Develop new recipes: Experiment with and develop new recipes to expand the product offerings and keep the menu fresh and exciting.

  • Adapt to dietary needs: Modify recipes or create new ones to accommodate special dietary needs, such as gluten-free, vegan, or low-sugar options.

  • Coordinate with team: Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely production of baked goods.

  • Maintain equipment: Operate and maintain baking equipment, such as ovens, mixers, and proofing cabinets, ensuring they are in good working condition.
