Job Brief



  • We are currently looking for a Material Code Creator s with good experience. The Material Code Creator would be responsible for generating, maintaining and managing materials codes within the company’s Ivalua system.

  • This role ensures that all materials used in the company operations are accurately coded and classified, facilitating efficient tracking, procurement and inventory management


Responsibilities



  • Creating unique materials codes for new materials and products introduced into the company’s system.

  • Ensure all materials codes are generated in accordance with company standards and naming conventions.

  • Maintain and update the material code database to ensure accuracy and consistency.

  • Regularly review and audit materials codes to identify and correct discrepancies.

  • Work closely with procurement, inventory and site construction departments to understand their material requirements and ensure accurate coding.

  • Liaise with suppliers and vendors to obtain necessary material specification and details.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and guidelines for materials code creation and management.

  • Ensure all material codes comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Stay updated with changes in industry standards and implement necessary updates to the material code system.


Education and Experience



  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field preferred.

  • 5-7 proven experience in material Coding, Inventory Management , or related field.

  • Familiarity with ERP Systems and database management.


Requirements:



  • Strong attention to details and accuracy

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
