Job Summary

As our Inventory Lead, you'll be responsible for managing and controlling the inventory of frozen food products at the branch level. This includes receiving, storing, and shipping products while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the work of inventory specialists, providing guidance and training as needed.


• Coordinate the receipt, storage, and shipment of frozen food products, ensuring that all products are handled and stored in accordance with company policies and procedures and conduct cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy of inventory records.


• Identify and address inventory discrepancies, including investigating and resolving issues related to missing or damaged products.


• Implement and maintain inventory management best practices, including First-In-First-Out (FIFO) inventory rotation and proper product labeling and storage.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.


• 5+ years of experience in inventory management, preferably in the frozen food industry.


• Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with experience managing a team of inventory specialists.


• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
