Job Description



  • We are seeking to employ the service of an experienced Store keeper to ensure quality safety of all materials and general activities in the store.


Responsiblities



  • Receive and inspect all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders.

  • Verify and track received inventory and complete inventory reports and logs.

  • Monitor and proactively respond to requests for construction materials, process and distribute materials as needed.

  • Conduct inventory audits to determine inventory levels and needs.

  • Maintain accurate inventory record.

  • Respond to questions regarding receipts, deliveries, repairs, issuance and surplus supply.

  • Report immediately when materials are out of stock.

  • Collaborate with contractors to provide materials and follow up on projects.

  • Work closely with Purchasing to order and receive items and equipment.

  • Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations in the store.

  • Track, monitor and control all disbursement of materials

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualification



  • OND, HND in any field of study.


Years of Experience:



  • 1-2 years experience in similar role in a reputable Construction company.


Skills/Abilities:



  • Prior experience in a Construction company

  • Proficient in MS word

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Problem solving skills with ability to stay calm under pressure

  • Good record keeping and accuracy

  • Attention to details

  • Excellent Organization.
