  • Collaborate with the Group HR and General Manager to strategically plan and execute HR initiatives that benefit the company and encourage more efficient and effective work from employees.

  • Continually educate employees on company policies (including appropriate dress, attendance, onboarding, etc.) and keep the employee handbook current

  • Monitor employee progress and stay abreast of company climate and culture, ensuring it stays positive and productive.

  • Providing support around enforcement of company policy, procedures, and employee disciplinary issues.

  • Proper management of the exit process through ensuring the filling of relevant exit forms and documentation facilitates processing entitlements.

  • Coordinating and handling orientation, induction, and training of new employees. Filling out the Onboarding Checklist and updating all necessary databases.

  • Foster cross-functional relationships and ensure managers and employees are properly connected

  • Oversee recruitment and selection processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring new employees.

  • Stay updated on changes in work legislation and industry standards.

  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve company goals.

  • Coordinate performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees.

  • Handle employee relations and resolve any workplace conflicts or issues.

  • Develop employee recognition and rewards programs.

  • Manage and resolve employee complaints and grievances.

  • Provide HR support and guidance to managers and employees

  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

  • Assess training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives for all employees

  • Documentation of disciplinary procedures


Requirements



  • HND or B.Sc in a Social Management course

  • 2 - 4 years work experience.
