Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive operational strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Identify areas for improvement and design strategies to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead the development of annual operational plans, budgets, and forecasts.
Process Improvement and Optimization:
- Analyse existing processes and systems to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization.
- Implement process improvements and best practices to streamline operations and reduce costs.
- Mon itor and evaluate the effectiveness of process changes and make adjustments as necessary.
Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of operations professionals.
- Set clear goals and performance expectations, and provide regular feedback and coaching.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and teamwork.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance and effectiveness.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports to Senior Management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
- Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive operational excellence.
Resource Management:
- Oversee the allocation and utilization of resources, including Personnel, Equipment, and Materials.
- Ensure optimal resource management to meet operational demands and support business objectives.
- Manage inventory levels and procurement processes to ensure timely availability of materials.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all operational activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of product and service delivery.
- Address and resolve any compliance or quality issues promptly.
Customer Service and Satisfaction:
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer service and satisfaction.
- Monitor customer feedback and address any issues or concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with customer-facing teams to ensure alignment between operational processes and customer expectations.
Project Management:
- Lead and manage operational projects, including process improvements, technology implementations, and facility upgrades.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure successful project execution and delivery.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives and resolve any issues.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or relevant Advanced Degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of Experience in Operations Management, with a proven track record of Managing Complex Operations and driving Performance Improvements
