We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategies to expand market share, and managing key customer relationships.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales within the FMCG sector, excellent leadership abilities, and a passion for achieving targets in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company targets and increase market share.
Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance and achieve sales goals.
Build and maintain relationships with key clients, distributors, and stakeholders.
Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Coordinate with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with new product launches and promotions.
Oversee the preparation of sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of the sales team, providing coaching and feedback as needed.
Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities.
Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving issues and responding to inquiries promptly.
Negotiate contracts and close deals with key clients.
Manage sales budgets and optimize the allocation of resources.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (required).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in the FMCG industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Deep understanding of the FMCG market, products, and customer needs.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive sales strategies.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work under pressure.
Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Preferred Skills:
Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) is a plus.
Knowledge of emerging trends in the FMCG industry.
