We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development and Sales Executive to join our team. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and promoting our fixed income trading and asset management solutions. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of financial markets, excellent networking abilities, and a proven sales track record.



Key Responsibilities:



Business Development:




  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base.

  • Develop strategies to penetrate target markets, including institutional and retail investors.

  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape.



Sales and Relationship Management:




  • Develop and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals, institutional clients, and corporate organizations.

  • Pitch fixed income and asset management products to prospective clients, tailoring solutions to their investment goals.

  • Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.



Client Engagement:



Provide clients with regular market updates, performance reports, and investment insights. Address client queries and concerns, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Foster long-term partnerships by offering personalized financial solutions.



Job Requirements



Bachelor’s degree in finance, any core science or technology discipline, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.



Skills and Competencies




  • Proven ability to close deals and achieve sales targets.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building client trust.

  • Strong understanding of fixed income securities, asset management, and investment strategies.

  • Ability to analyse financial markets and interpret data to make informed recommendations.

  • Established network within Nigeria's financial and investment community is preferred.



Experience:




  • 3–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or relationship management within the financial services sector.

  • Prior experience in fixed income trading or asset management is highly desirable.
