The ideal Candidate for this role should be a distinguished legal practitioner who combines technical mastery with strategic commercial thinking.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Lead the end-to-end management of complex litigation portfolios, developing winning legal strategies aligned with client commercial objectives.

  • Appear as lead or co-counsel in superior courts of record and before various arbitral tribunals.

  • Produce sophisticated legal documents, including originating processes, appellate briefs, written addresses, and comprehensive legal opinions.

  • Proactively identify legal risks and provide strategic counsel on regulatory compliance and dispute-related exposures to minimize client liability.

  • Act as a primary point of contact for high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients, ensuring clear communication and trust.

  • Supervise and mentor junior associates, ensuring the highest standards of quality control and professional development within the dispute resolution team.



Requirements




  • LL.B and B.L. (A Master’s degree in Law/LL.M or professional certifications like CIArb will be a distinct advantage)

  • 8–10 years of post-call experience, with a heavy focus on commercial litigation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR).

  • A proven track record of handling significant matters in superior courts, demonstrating exceptional oral advocacy and presence.

  • The ability to distill complex legal issues into actionable, sound legal judgment.

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority matters under tight deadlines.

  • Unimpeachable ethics and a high level of discretion in handling sensitive legal matters.
