Job Summary




  • The Risk & Compliance Officer will be responsible for identifying business risks, monitoring compliance with policies and regulatory requirements, and promoting a strong culture of accountability across the organization.

  • The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in risk or compliance roles within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.



Key Responsibilities




  • Conduct periodic risk assessments and support the development of mitigation plans.

  • Monitor and ensure adherence to internal control policies, SOPs, and regulatory standards.

  • Assist in developing and updating compliance policies and frameworks.

  • Conduct internal reviews and compliance audits across departments.

  • Track and report compliance breaches and follow up on corrective actions.

  • Stay updated on relevant Nigerian regulatory requirements and ensure company-wide compliance.

  • Provide compliance awareness training and promote risk consciousness among employees.

  • Support external audit and regulatory engagement activities.



Requirements




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or any related field.

  • 2 - 4 years relevant experience in Risk Management, Compliance, Audit, or Internal Control within an FMCG or manufacturing company.

  • Professional certifications (e.g., CIPM, ICAN, ACCA, CRMA, CISA, NIM, CFE) are an added advantage.

  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, internal controls, and Nigerian regulatory standards.

  • Excellent analytical, investigative, and report-writing skills.

  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
