Job Summary
- The Electrical and Electronics Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical and electronic systems and equipment within the organization.
- The role ensures the efficient operation of electrical systems, supports production activities, and improves manufacturing processes through effective electrical engineering solutions. Experience in a manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement electrical and electronic systems for operational efficiency.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical equipment and machinery.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems and components.
- Diagnose faults in electrical and electronic equipment and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical regulations.
- Collaborate with the production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and improve productivity.
- Develop and review electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Support automation and control systems used in manufacturing processes.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements or upgrades where necessary.
- Assist in the procurement and installation of electrical equipment and components.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and technical reports.
- Train and guide technicians on proper electrical maintenance procedures.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field with 5–10 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, control systems, and industrial equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical drawings.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering software tools.
