The role




  • Rotation and Precision Machines Limited is seeking to hire an experienced Technical Sales Executive for the role of promoting, selling, and providing technical guidance for laboratory instruments and equipment used across process industries and related manufacturing companies, including cement, metals, refineries, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, mining, research and development, and academia.

  • This role requires a combination of science knowledge, customer engagement, and commercial skills to drive sales,enhance customer satisfaction, and meaningfully contribute to the company’s business growth.



Job Description




  • Identify potential customers and develop sales opportunities for laboratory instruments and equipment.

  •  Present and demonstrate laboratory instruments and applications to prospective clients.

  • Understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions tailoredto their needs.

  • Prepare proposals, and followup on sales leads.

  •  Responsible for growing and achieving revenue targets. Thisincludes not only closing deals but also ensuring that contracts are profitable and align with Rotation and Precisition Machines Limited ’ financial goals.

  • Maintain and update customer records, sales reports, and market intelligence.

  •   Keep up-to date with the latest laboratory technologies, products, and industry trends.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive repeat business and referrals.

  • Conduct market analysis to identify growing demand for laboratory instruments and solutions.

  • Develop and maintain a database of key account customers, including those currently using competitor products.

  • Tabulate customer data to evaluate customer satisfactionand likelihood to switch from competitor products, assisting in prioritizing sales efforts.



Knowledge, Skills, and Experience




  • The ideal candidate is expected to demonstrate a strong entrepreneurial mindset and good leadership skills in addition to:

  • Bachelor’sDegree in Chemistry, Physics, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Materials Science, or related science discipline.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales (B2B)

  • Prior experience in technical sales or laboratory instruments is an advantage.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Computer Literacy/proficiency in MS office - excel andPowerPoint presentations

  • Customer-focused with the ability to understand technical requirements.

  • Strong Negotiation skills

  • Basic understanding of laboratory instruments, testing methods, and applications.

  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

  • Willingness for extensive travelling to attend clientsites as and when needed.
