Job Summary
- Coordinate Civil Engineering and Survey personnel to ensure that civil Engineering and survey Jobs / projects are delivered on time with the desired results.
- Use qualified personnel and necessary tools to Carry out supervision in accordance with engineering standard(s) of practice, physical inspections, examining plans / designs, ensuring that work is done in line with approved specification(s).
Job Details
- Making sure that civil and Survey jobs / projects are executed in accordance with relevant Engineering Codes and Standard.
- Provide civil works status during monthly departmental meeting with focus on quality, timely and efficient delivery.
- Demonstrate cost saving initiatives to manage and reduce operational cost by at least 15% from project budget.
- Participate in subcontractors’ evaluations and contracts for all categories of civil engineering and survey jobs / Project and submit report to Civil and Survey Manager to vet.
- Interface with Engineering team and review designs and drawings to ensure fit-for- purpose output.
- Managing budgets and project resources and revert to civil and Survey Manager.
- Maintain good relationship with stakeholders / external relationships and ensure periodic feedback.
- Should ensure through responsible parties that Civil and Survey Equipment / Tools are well secured and maintained during and after operations
- Should be involved in preparation of civil engineering and survey tender documents and submit to Civil / Survey Manager for approval.
- Interface with contractors on Oilserv civil / survey jobs to ensure quality job delivery.
- Liaising with the Supervisors on site to keep track of the civil / survey equipment / Instruments on site.
- Provide status of all civil / survey equipment during departmental month

- Take responsibility for their health & safety and those of stakeholders across Oilserv business
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Civil Engineering
- COREN Registered
- Any other certification, membership of any engineering body will be an advantage
- Minimum of 15 years’ Experience in Civil Engineering works.
- At least 5 years in Oil and Gas Civil Engineering and Survey works
