Role Summary




  • The Human Resource Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the full spectrum of HR functions within the organization. This role requires a structured, disciplined, and strategic HR professional who can build systems, strengthen internal controls, drive performance management, and align people strategy with business objectives.

  • The successful candidate will provide operational HR leadership while supporting management in workforce planning, employee engagement, compliance, and organizational development.



Key Responsibilities



HR Strategy & Organizational Development




  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.

  • Conduct HR audits to identify gaps and recommend improvements.

  • Support leadership with workforce planning and succession planning.

  • Strengthen HR governance and compliance frameworks.



Recruitment & Talent Management




  • Lead end-to-end recruitment and selection processes.

  • Develop structured onboarding and probation management systems.

  • Implement competency-based hiring frameworks.

  • Monitor manpower planning and staffing optimization.



Performance Management




  • Design and implement performance appraisal systems.

  • Monitor KPI tracking and performance improvement processes.

  • Support managers in handling underperformance and disciplinary matters.

  • Drive accountability culture across departments.



Employee Relations & Compliance




  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and regulatory standards.

  • Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and investigations.

  • Develop and maintain HR policies and employee handbook.

  • Promote positive workplace culture and engagement initiatives.



Compensation & Payroll Oversight




  • Oversee payroll coordination and benefits administration.

  • Review compensation structure for competitiveness and sustainability.

  • Monitor leave management and workforce cost control.



HR Systems & Reporting




  • Implement or optimize HRIS systems.

  • Maintain accurate HR records and employee data.

  • Provide monthly HR reports to management.

  • Track HR metrics and workforce analytics.



Required Qualifications




  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Professional certification (CIPM – Associate or Chartered preferred).

  • Minimum of 5–7 years HR experience.

  • At least 3–5 years in a supervisory or managerial HR role.

  • Experience in real estate, construction, or structured corporate environments is an advantage.
