Job Description
Primary Objective
- A Van Field Sales Supervisor is responsible for the sale of company products at the sub wholesale and retail channels within a specified territory, ensuring that numeric distribution objectives as well as weighted average and merchandizing recommendations are met.
Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Core responsibility to achieve the secondary sales & distribution Target outside open Market (neighborhood stores) by ensuring distribution in allotted territory.
- Coverage norm of minimum 25 outlets per day (fortnightly coverage – 6 days market working).
- Minimum 18 productive calls per day.
- Monitoring Competitor activities and Pricing & reporting to ASM on weekly basis.
- Ensure value chain compliance and implementation of inputs /schemes.
- Ensuring Proper display and Merchandising of the Product in each outlet.
- Daily reporting on Sales & Collections to ASM and weekly reconciliation of Stock and debtors with ASM and KD/WS.
Person Specifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in an FMCG sales environment.
- Minimum of a Bachelor Degree/HND preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, and communication (oral and written);
- Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team where open, collaborative communication is expected;
- Exhibits personal traits of curiosity, modesty, achievement orientation, and conscientiousness;
- Team player that is creative, process oriented, and committed
- Knowledge and use of Basic MS Office Suites (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
- Valid driver’s license required
