Role Summary




  • The Branch Manager will drive business growth, profitability, risk control, and operational excellence within the branch, while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong customer relationships.



Key Responsibilities




  • Execute branch business strategy to meet loan, deposit, and revenue targets.

  • Drive deposit mobilization, credit growth, and product cross-selling.

  • Manage loan processing, monitoring, and recovery; maintain PAR ≤ 5%.

  • Ensure compliance with CBN regulations, KYC, AML/CFT, and internal controls.

  • Oversee daily branch operations and service delivery standards.

  • Identify and mitigate credit and operational risks.

  • Lead and develop staff; manage performance and discipline processes.

  • Build customer and community partnerships to grow market share.

  • Monitor branch performance and submit accurate periodic reports.

  • Improve processes and support digital/operational transformation.



KPIs




  • ≥90% loan and deposit target achievement

  • PAR ≤ 5%

  • ≥85% customer retention

  • Profitability targets met

  • ≥95% recovery on performing loans

  • 100% compliance and reporting timeliness

  • ≥99% reporting accuracy

  • Strong audit/internal control ratings



Requirements




  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field (MBA is an advantage).

  • 5–7 years banking experience, with at least 3 years in management.

  • Solid knowledge of microfinance operations, credit, and regulation.

  • Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
