Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to recipes or customer preferences.
- Ensure food is prepared and presented in an appealing and hygienic manner.
- Plan menus and assist in creating new meal ideas when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking equipment.
- Monitor food stock levels and inform management of items that need restocking.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food items.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Assist with grocery shopping or ingredient sourcing when required.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Culinary certification is an added advantage.
