Job Summary
Experienced, honest and God fearing hostel parent who can handle the following responsibilities:
Student Welfare and Discipline:
- Maintain a positive and caring environment for all hostel residents.
- Enforce hostel rules and regulations to ensure student discipline and safety.
- Act as a mentor and counselor for students, providing guidance on personal, social, and academic concerns.
Health and Safety:
- Monitor students' health and liaise with medical personnel if required.
- Conduct regular safety checks within the hostel premises.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, room allocations, and inventories.
- Organize and supervise hostel events, activities, and outings.
Facility Management:
- Ensure the hostel premises are kept clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Report maintenance issues promptly and follow up to ensure repairs are completed.
Parental Communication:
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in any related field
- Previous experience working with young people in a residential setting preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage challenging situations effectively.
