ABOUT THE JOB
- We are hiring a full-time Social Media Manager to support our fast-growing mum and baby brand focused on high-quality, culturally relevant products for families in the diaspora.
- This role is responsible for the day-to-day management, strategy, and execution of our social media presence, including Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms as we expand (e.g. Facebook and emerging channels).
- This is a highly hands-on role, and the ideal candidate must be fully available, highly creative, proactive, and capable of managing content, engagement, and performance consistently.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and execute social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
- Create, script, and manage daily content (Reels, TikToks, Stories, Carousels).
- Drive engagement, audience growth, and overall content performance.
- Identify trends, viral opportunities, and adapt them for the brand.
- Translate products into engaging, relatable, and sales-driven content.
- Collaborate closely with the founder and team on a daily basis to execute ideas quickly.
- Monitor content performance and continuously improve based on insights.
- Manage and expand presence across additional platforms such as Facebook where necessary.
- Provide day-to-day support on social media operations and related tasks as assigned.

- Highly creative with strong content ideation and storytelling skills.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and social media trends.
- Basic video editing and content production skills.
- Able to script, plan, and execute content independently.
- Results-driven with a focus on engagement, growth, and performance.
- Highly organized, proactive, and consistent.
- Comfortable working closely with a team and taking feedback.
- Able to work independently while maintaining high standards.
- Serious, disciplined, and committed to delivering results.
