Job Description
We are seeking a Social Media Analyst / Manager to monitor, analyze, and manage online presence across major social platforms. The role focuses on tracking conversations, identifying trends, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making and online engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze activity across Twitter/X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Telegram
- Track online discourse, trends, and audience sentiment across platforms
- Identify emerging narratives, risks, and relevant conversations in real time
- Generate reports and insights based on social media analytics
- Support content strategy with data-driven recommendations
- Monitor brand or topic mentions and engagement performance
- Flag potential reputational risks or coordinated activity patterns
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve communication and outreach strategies
Key Requirements / Expertise:
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their ecosystems
- Experience in social media monitoring, analytics, or digital communications
- Ability to identify trends, patterns, and shifts in online discourse
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools and reporting dashboards
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Excellent written communication and reporting ability
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Communications, Marketing, Data Analytics, or related field
- Experience in social media management or digital intelligence roles
- Knowledge of online community behaviour and trend analysis
Performance Metrics:
- Accuracy and relevance of trend identification and insights
- Timeliness of reporting and response to emerging issues
- Quality of social media performance analysis
