Job Overview




  • Our client is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to oversee management accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.

  • The successful candidate will provide accurate financial insights to support strategic decision-making and business performance.



Key Responsibilities




  • Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

  • Analyse financial performance, variances, costs, and key business drivers.

  • Provide management with financial insights and recommendations for decision-making.

  • Monitor budgets, expenditure, cash flow, and cost control.

  • Develop financial models, reports, and performance dashboards.

  • Ensure accurate accounting records and timely month-end close processes.

  • Review and improve financial controls and accounting processes.

  • Support pricing, investment, cost-saving, and other commercial decisions.

  • Coordinate with Finance, Operations, and other departments on financial matters.

  • Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

  • Monitor financial KPIs and identify opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.

  • Lead and develop junior accounting staff where applicable.

  • Drive continuous improvement across management accounting processes.



Job Requirements




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

  • ICAN certification is required; ACCA or equivalent professional qualification will also be considered.

  • 5–7 years’ progressive accounting experience, including significant management accounting experience.

  • Previous experience in a management or supervisory role is required.

  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, management reporting, and cost control.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial controls, and regulatory requirements.

  • Experience within a structured corporate environment is preferred.

  • Advanced Excel and proficiency in accounting/ERP systems.

  • Strong business acumen and attention to detail.

  • Ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-finance stakeholders.
