Job Summary




  • As the Executive Director, you will be responsible for leading the origination and execution of high-value financial advisory transactions, driving business growth, strengthening strategic client relationships, and providing leadership across the firm's advisory practice.

  • The role requires a seasoned investment banking professional with a strong track record in transaction execution,  business development, and stakeholder management.



Responsibilities




  • Originate and execute financial advisory mandates across the public sector and other strategic sectors, ensuring successful delivery of complex transactions

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, corporate clients, investors, and key stakeholders to drive business opportunities

  • Lead transaction execution including mergers & acquisitions, capital raising, project finance, privatizations, restructurings, and other advisory engagements

  • Drive business development initiatives to expand the firm's advisory portfolio, revenue base, and market presence

  • Provide strategic leadership, mentorship, and oversight to transaction teams while ensuring compliance with regulatory and governance requirements.



Requirements




  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in Financial Advisory, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, or a related field, with significant experience leading complex transactions

  • Proven track record of originating and executing successful advisory mandates and managing high-value client relationships

  • Strong expertise in capital markets, corporate finance, financial modelling, company valuation, equity analysis, and transaction structuring

  • Excellent commercial acumen, leadership, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with an established network within the public and corporate sectors.
