Job Responsibilities
- Create, implement, and drive strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored packaging solutions.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and competitor activity.
- Coordinate sales efforts with the marketing team to execute campaigns, product launches, and other initiatives.
- Manage, motivate, and guide the sales team to ensure high performance, providing training and development opportunities where needed.
- Ensure top-quality service and support are provided to clients, addressing their concerns and feedback promptly.
- Generate regular sales reports, analyze performance data, and provide insights to senior management for informed decision-making.
- Monitor sales budgets, optimize resource allocation, and control operational costs to meet financial targets.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 10 years in a sales role within the packaging industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification is a plus.
- Extensive knowledge of the packaging industry, including market trends, product innovations, and key players.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with a proven ability to build and lead high-performing sales teams.
- Proficient in using data and market insights to drive decisions and improve sales
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated expertise in negotiating contracts, closing deals, and managing accounts effectively.
- Proficient in CRM software and MS Office, with the ability to quickly learn new sales tools and software.
